Kimi Räikkönen, an ace at the wheel and ambassador for Avant-Garde Eyewear

TAG Heuer Eyewear is proud to announce that Ferrari's Formula 1 driver, Kimi Räikkönen, has joined the team of TAG Heuer's ambassadors alongside the world champion 2004, 2005 and 2006 of ChampCar Sébastien Bourdais, and the China Team (CHN 95), which will be taking part in the 32nd edition of the America's Cup that will be fought out in Valencia this spring.

Making the most of his passion for sunglasses, Kimi Räikkönen showed immediate interest in the new project, and he has already started working with TAG Heuer Eyewear to develop a range of glasses that are inspired particularly by the world of motor racing and his passion for speed and objects with distinctive style.

Kimi announced: 'I am a great fan of sunglasses. Style is very important to me and I am always looking for something different. I am absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to work with TAG Heuer Eyewear and develop products I would love to wear'.
