Renewal of Sover and Alviero Martini agreement

Renewal of Sover and Alviero Martini agreement

The 1a Classe Alviero Martini eyewear line will continue to be produced by Sover.

Sover, the eyewear sector's leading company based at Soverzene in the province of Belluno, and Alviero Martini, the company known for the unmistakable Geo pattern of all its collections, have renewed the agreement for the production of the 1a Classe Alviero Martini line.

The collaboration between Sover and Alviero Martini will continue until 2012 with the successful model that dates back to the first partnership agreement in 2003.

From a stylistic viewpoint, there is no doubt that the model was the start of an extremely innovative line that uses mainly leather for sunglasses and vision glasses.

1a Classe Alviero Martini is the all-leather model that in recent months has been having enormous success in Italy and abroad because of the quality of the materials and workmanship.

Strictly and totally Made in Italy, the latest eyewear collections will be presented at Mido in May. The 1a Classe Alviero Martini line includes an exclusive sun model which will be worn by the girls from Donnavventura, the successful television program on the Retequattro network which, year after year, produces amazing documentaries about far-off countries presented by a group of young reporters.

Sover is pleased about the renewal of the agreement as it underscores how the 1a Classe Alviero Martini line has won over consumers with eyewear that expresses the best of Alviero Martini's adventurous spirit. Sover, which forecasts closing the June 30, 2007, financial statements with around 27 million euros for the entire group, was set up in 1962 and, in addition to the eyewear line sold on the market under its own name, it is also the licensee for Mariella Burani and Baldinini.

The new collections will be presented at Mido in Milan, May 4 through 7.
