The Customs Office at Mido 2007
Following the Memorandum signed on 19 April 2005 with Anfao, aimed at protecting made in Italy products in the field of optical goods, the Customs Office will be present this year too, as Anfao's guest, at Mido.
At the Office's stand, Box 1 Hall 7, Managers from the Regional Management for Lombardy and the External Relations and Communication Department will be giving information on all relevant issues, showing the services available for private individuals and businesses:
-A.I.D.A. (Customs and Excise Integrated Automation): the information system that can offer standardized, integrated services to facilitate exchanges and reduce transaction costs promoting the competitivity of national businesses in the field of international commerce;
-FALSTAFF (Fully Automated Logical System Against Forgery and Fraud): a system aimed at fighting forged goods and the usurpation of patents, with the creation of a multi-media database of authentic products, incorporated into the clearance procedures;
-Customs Audit for Businesses: allows repetitive checks on market players to be avoided with a preventive analysis method aimed at establishing their level of customs reliability, also with a special certificate;
-Intr@web: multi-modular application for the management and electronic transmission of Intrastat lists, supplied to operators for free;
-Taric (integrated tariff of the European Communities): a practical means of information for operators interested in international commercial exchanges, containing the set of directives, obligations and tax regulations the goods are subject to when they are introduced into the Community's customs territory, and national and Community commercial and tariff legislation;
- EDI Electronic Customs Service to fulfill various customs obligations: presentation of customs declarations; presentation of summary declarations; presentation of intrastat lists; presentation of excise declarations; requests of temporary custody data; fight against forgery and the use of the services of chemical laboratories.
In this special occasion it will also be possible to view a sample of forged optical goods confiscated during the checks carried out by the Customs Office Officials.
