Carrera at mega-concert for Nelson Mandela's 90th

For the ninetieth birthday of Nobel Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela June 27 a major concert will be held in London to raise funds for the fight against AIDS.

A formal event at which internationally famous performers like Queen, Annie Lennox, Simple Minds and Zucchero will be joined by African musicians including Johnny Clegg, Papa Wemba, Emanuel Jal and Loyiso.

Appearing on the stage in Hyde Park will be personalities from the worlds of show business and politics, such as former US president Bill Clinton, British prime minister Gordon Brown, actors Will Smith and Robert De Niro.

Carrera has always been close to the world of music and solidarity events and is a partner of this important benefit event of worldwide interest.

MTV has the exclusive for the live coverage of the 3 and a half hour event, which will be shown on MTV Italy and MTV Gold. A special Carrera film and targeted commercials will be televised during the concert and again later on the network's specials.
