Bushnell on the green again for "Golf Cup 2009"
For the third year running, the Bushnell Performance Optics Group has renewed its commitment to the golfing world by arranging the appointment with enthusiasts and professionals at the first stage of the Bushnell Golf Cup 2009-Piero Gros Sunday, May 17, against the medieval backdrop of the Le Fronde Golf Club in Avigliana, Turin, which was also the setting for the last two editions.
The protagonist and spokesperson at the third trophy will again be the great Piero Gros, an athlete of the golden age of the Italian national ski team, now a well-known sports commentator and passionate golfer.
For many years, Gros has been the testimonial for Serengeti and Bollé sunglasses and for Bushnell’s outdoor products, and was chosen not only because of his qualities as a sportsman, but also because of the great humanity he expresses in important actions for social solidarity.
The Bushnell Golf Cup Piero Gros is an excellent opportunity for testing Bushnell’s telemeters, which are unequalled on the golfing products market.
For many years, Bushnell has been well-known in the United States for its innovative binoculars-digital cameras, binoculars for outdoors, speed gauges and night visors.
As in the past, the 3rd Bushnell Golf Cup will be a solidarity mission in collaboration with the non-profit Forma Foundation. It was created to support the Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital in Turin and Piero Gros has been an honorary member for many years.
The aim of the Golf Cup is to collect funds for research and a percentage of the green fees will be allocated for this purpose.
