"Eyewear style and design technician" course reaches finishing line
At 3pm Friday, June 12, 2009, in its headquarters in the Villanova industrial area of Longarone (Belluno), Certottica will present the results of the “eyewear style and design technician” course now at its 4th edition.
Co-financed by the European Social Fund, the course ran from November 2008 through May 2009 at the Feltre University Campus in collaboration with the Fondazione per l’Università e l’Alta Cultura in the province of Belluno.
Twelve deserving students were the protagonists of a training project in which special attention was given to skills regarding the development of sensitivity to esthetic taste, style and design, and to technical expertise in designing products.
During the June 12 event, the results of the course will be presented in a video of the students’ projects, which were inspired by related concepts and themes.
Contributing to the development of this professionalism and the implementation of a project for a pair, or a line, of eyeglasses were lectures by qualified speakers from numerous companies in the artistic, design and creative sectors, including the “Stile Italiano” studio of Asolo, headed by designer Lucio Stramare.
The students ended the course with training at major companies in the eyewear district.
