Rudy Project at the Tour de France 2009

Rudy Project at the Tour de France 2009

The 96th edition of the Tour de France and the Rudy Project, which can be seen at the starting line of the greatest race in the world, promise tough competition with a group of top-notch athletes.

Twenty cyclists of the calibre of Gerdemann and Ciolek of the Milram, Pellizotti and Vanotti of the Liquigas, and Ignatiev and Trusov of the Katusha Team will certainly be among the favourites of a race that is promising thrill after thrill this year. 21 stages, of which 10 on flatlands, 3 uphill arrivals, 2 individual chronos and 1 team one for a total of 3,500 kilometres.
A programme worthy of the Grande Boucle 2009, which started on July 4th from the Principality of Monaco and will enter 4 nations (Spain, Andorra, Switzerland, and Italy) to end with the final stretch on the Champs-Élysées on July 26th.

During the Tour, the Rudy Project cyclists will be able to use the brand new eyeglasses of the 2010 collection. All the Rudy Project models have in fact been studied in collaboration with sport professionals and tested during the most important competitions to verify performance and comfort under extreme conditions.

The new frames will be tested with unbreakable ImpactX Photocromatic Clear lenses, perfect for cycling because they offer a wide range of chromatic variations, ideal to be worn all day long and under any weather and lighting conditions.
