Salmoiraghi & Viganò: changes in top management

Franca Dall’Ara has been appointed Managing Director of the Salmoiraghi & Viganò Group. This new position for the manager from Mantua is part of a top-management changeover operation by the group headed by Dino Tabacchi.

“Franca Dall’Ara’s contribution and experience will allow us to confirm our Group’s positioning as the leader of the optics distribution market” commented Salmoiraghi & Viganò president Dino Tabacchi. “I am certain that she will fulfill her new role with commitment and expertise and bring new enthusiasm to the Company”.

Born in Mantua but raised in Bresso (Milan), Franca Dall’Ara graduated in jurisprudence at the Cattolica University in Milan. She began her career in 1985 as an expert in
Trade Union relations at Telecom. In 1990 she joined Manzoni Pubblicità as assistant personnel manager. Four years later, she joined Salmoiraghi & Viganò as personnel manager. In 2003 she was appointed general manager of the subsidiary VistaSì, where she has been joint managing director since 2006.

Through the coordination and supervision of the companies in the group - Salmoiraghi & Viganò, VistaSì and Spacciocchiali - Franca Dall’Ara aims to consolidate and increase the market leadership and at the same time achieve billings and profitability objectives. By taking on the management of the company’s processes and by focusing on business with her accustomed attention to consumers, the new managing director will begin a series of important projects and technological innovations to confirm the Salmoiraghi & Viganò Group’s key presence on Italy’s optics market.

“I am very pleased about this new challenge in an important company like Salmoiraghi & Viganò” Franca Dall’Ara said. “Our company has consolidated its leadership of the sector and my job will be to consolidate our positioning through careful management and the development of the companies in the group”.
