SINAL accreditation, another "license" for Certottica

In Europe and elsewhere in the world, the circulation of products from one country to another is increasingly conditioned by the existence of test reports issued by accredited laboratories, which means that the tests do not have to be repeated by the various importing countries. This is all thanks to the mutual agreement between the accreditation bodies and laboratories such as SINAL.

Certottica presented and obtained SINAL recognition that its test laboratories conform to the relevant standard. It has received Accreditation number 0931, which confirms its international visibility.

Following an inspection, the examiners from SINAL, the Italian system for the accreditation of laboratories and the test laboratory technical and management competence index, authorized the accreditation of Certottica, the Institute for the Certification of Optical Products.

This accreditation means that the supremacy of the Institute in Longarone has been internationally recognized with regard to the certification of optical products.
The internationally recognized laboratories accredited by bodies such as SINAL issue test reports which are automatically accepted worldwide, with obvious advantages for customers who use the Institute and for their exports.

The strong points identified by SINAL examiners were a thorough knowledge of the testing standards and their problems, diligent participation by work groups in activities concerning sector standards, and excellent IT management of documents.

The accredited tests are primarily associated with eyeglasses and sunglasses in accordance with the provisions of harmonized European standard EN1836:2005/A1:2007 and Australian standard AS/NZS 1067:2007.
For vision frames, in accordance with the provisions of international standard ISO 12870:2004 and the release of nickel in accordance with the provisions of standard EN 1811:1998/A1:2008.
