Success for Oakley at Tour de France
After winning 11 of the 21 stages on the Giro D’Italia, Oakley athletes made a determined effort in the Tour De France and won 5 of the 6 stages.
Fabian Cancellara of Switzerland, who currently wears the yellow jersey, took the lead at the start in Monaco. Fabian chose to wear the very latest Jawbone from Oakley, the revolutionary sunglasses with top-level technical characteristics.
Britain’s Mark Cavendish (Oakley Jawbone) won the second and third stages with a couple of sprints worthy of this talented athlete.
The king of the Tour, Lance Armstrong (Oakley Jawbone Livestrong) finished with his Astana teammates in the fourth team stage.
Norway’s Thor Hushovd (Oakley Radar) took the lead in the sixth stage of a race in the wind and rain. The final will be in Barcelona.
The great favorites to win the stages include Filippo Pozzato (Oakley Radar) from Vicenza. After winning the title of Italian champion he intends to leaves his mark also on the “Grande Boucle”.
