Valentino’s new proposals for spring

Valentino’s new proposals for spring

For next season Valentino proposes a collection of sparkling and precious eyewear: oversize and with couture decorations in a luxurious style.

A metal bow glowing with Swarovski crystals is the retro-chic decoration for the injected sunglasses with oval, wraparound lines and for the oversize acetate eyewear with soft lines. A deluxe interpretation, the refined ornament is the season’s new must-have that emphasizes the solid or shaded colors of the frames.

And there’s more: metal butterflies sparkling with rhinestones rest on the temples of large and rimless injected metal sunglasses. A rose makes the more romantic and glamorous sunglasses extra special: the seductive new one-piece lenses have light, perforated metal petals studded with sparking spots of light. Bon-ton is the inspiration for injected sunglasses with large, rounded lines, lenses free at the sides as in model VAL 5622. Refined braiding from the frame to the temples is inspired by the successful “Histoire Bag” of the latest Valentino collections. The temples of the new wraparound sunglasses in acetate (VAL 5631) and the new rectangular frames (VAL 5611) pay homage to the V icon, which is enclosed in an oval and attached with small Swarovski rhinestones.

The vision collection is a play of lighting effects. The rectangular acetate eyewear (VAL 5610) has forked temples studded with small rhinestones and decorated with three large, emerald-cut Swarovski crystals. Precious decorations with a spectacular effect: acetate silhouettes have soft lines (VAL 5613) and perforated metal temples with a refined floral texture embellished with crystals of various shapes, sizes and colors.

For men, the collection is vintage inspired with sunglasses (VAL 1210) and vision frames (VAL 1206) in Fifties style. Slim and refined details in metal visible at the start of the temples and at the sides of the lenses stand out against classic colors.
