Victoria Beckham with Cutler and Gross for eyewear collection

The former Spice Girl has signed an agreement with Cutler and Gross for the production of the Victoria Beckham Sunglasses line. Also passing under the brand’s control is the creation and production of the Denim collection. Both have been transferred to the enlarged headquarters in Battersea, London. Continuing in the meantime is the collaboration between the fashion icon and Armani.

The range produced by Britain’s Cutler and Gross, which has specialized in the eyewear sector for over 40 years, will debut on the market in spring/summer 2010, a timescale also envisaged for the new Victoria Beckham Denim structure (until now produced by Western Glove), where Beckham will continue to be the creative director with a larger team.

The growth of the brand follows the huge success of the clothing collection and aims at creating greater synergism between the various branches.

The bond between fashion and Victoria isn’t limited to this business. A few days ago at Macy’s on Herald Square, New York City, a very elegant Mrs. Beckham in an Armani tuxedo “revealed” the new fall/winter 2009/10 advertising campaign for Emporio Armani underwear, in which she is the protagonist.
