In its constant search for new materials, Fovs is now focusing all its attention on carbon. After five years of studies, the company has developed an innovative technique for processing this material with unique characteristics.

Carbon fiber is a fabric with a structure similar to a diamond weave; it is less compact but more pliable. This is graphite, less showy than stone but equally precious and with unrivaled physical qualities, the perfect synthesis of a semi-metal. Very light, strong and with a vaguely three-dimensional look, its many properties are based on different mechanical combinations with other composite materials. Fovs not only makes prototypes and finished eyeglasses, but also individual components such as temples, end pieces and nose pieces. By combining carbon with other materials like rubber or resin, young, sporty and very colorful models can be created. Existing projects can be personalized and new ones created thanks to a specialized creative team.
