Maranello–Active Sunglasses extends its list of athletes

Another sports star has been added to the prestigious list of athletes who have taken part in the initiative launched by Maranello–Active Sunglasses: Italy’s Giorgio Sernagiotto, winner of the 2009 Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli.

Giorgio Sernagiotto’s career in sport began in 1994 when he was only 13 and competed in the Regional Minikart Championship. In 1999, as well as being the best student of the year at the Henry Morrogh Driving School, he came in 5th place in the Italian Intercontinental Open 100 Championship. In 2000 he won the Formula Ford 1600 Championship, the Formula Ford 1800 Championship in 2001, and in 2006 the Ferrari Challenge Coppa Shell World Championship, a one-make race held at Monza. He continued to rise in the Ferrari Challenge Italian Championship (7th in 2007 and 5th in 2008) and in 2009 Giorgio stood on the top step of the podium.

Giorgio Sernagiotto is competing in this year’s Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli and is currently in fourth place.

Alessandro Bacci and Giorgio Sernagiotto are evaluating a series of options to find the best formula for managing this new partnership that will certainly be very rewarding for them both.
