New appointments at Certottica

Floriano Pra has been reconfirmed as the President of Certottica at the shareholders’ meeting held yesterday in Longarone. This is Pra’s second term as President of the institute for the certification of optical products. The majority shareholder, Anfao, delegated Giannino Lorenzon, Gianni Vetrini, Angelo De Polo, Cristiano Milone and Lucio Lozza to represent it on the Certottica Board of Directors.

Among the other appointments, Cristiano Milone was a strategic choice for re-establishing relationships with the Varese eyewear district. The intention is to reunite the Belluno and Varese districts to strengthen the search for and training of employees: in recent years they have moved farther apart. Nicola Del Din was appointed to represent Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti and Unindustria TV; for Veneto Innovazione Holding, Paola Malasoma, President of the company, was chosen; Franco Brunello, President of Appia Belluno/eyewear section, was confirmed as representative of the trade associations (Appia, Federottica, Aio, Frav and Confai) and Tiziano De Toffol, national President of Confartigianato eyewear producers, was confirmed as representative of the Chambers of Commerce; Maria Angela Filippin was appointed for the Province of Belluno and other local bodies.
