Optometrists' Roll at Giro d'Italia

The Roll of Optometrists will be at the recently started cycle Tour of Italy. During last Saturday’s stage at Montalcino, the Roll of Optometrists in collaboration with Transitions Optical carried out free screenings specifically for cyclists. The screenings will continue at the next stages in Cesenatico, May 21, and Brescia, May 27.

“As optometrists, the Giro d’Italia gives us the chance to apply specifically formulated procedures to analyze cyclists’ sight capacity. Optometry targets the eyesight of athletes in all disciplines and categories”, said Roll of Optometrists President Rossella Fonte.

The appointment for all athletes is May 21 at the Transitions Optical stand in the Sponsor Village, Cesenatico.
