Police stars in David Beckham's comics

Soccer star David Beckham will be the protagonist of Fame: David Beckham, the latest comic book biography due to be released in September by publisher Bluewater Productions.
Bluewater Productions, an independent American publishing company, announced that the next subject of “Fame” - its popular collection of comic book biographies - will be the English soccer player. The comic book biography by Bluewater Productions tells the story of Beckham’s life “from his debut in the world of soccer, when he dreamt of playing for Manchester United, to his recent engagement in the United States”.
Beckham is not only an exceptional soccer player, he is also a highly popular international celebrity with a much-copied look. Police was one of the first brands to discover him in 2004 and choose him as its testimonial for no fewer than 4 years in a row. Beckham continues to show his love for and bond with a brand that has an inimitable metropolitan and sexy style by wearing Police eyewear on several occasions.
So it’s totally natural for the eyewear brand to appear in the soccer player’s biography!
Written by Pete Rogers and illustrated by Pablo Martinena, the biography will be on sale in September.
