20Nuovi: making way for youth
20Nuovi has decided to link its image to the world of design and young creative talents in the optical sector. There was tangible evidence of this first approach at the last edition of Mido: in collaboration with Francesca Valan, the company’s multi-function stand boasted a CMF and design station where about ten students from IED, SPD and LABA took turns to create customized eyewear.
20Nuovi looked at the future and young creative talents and paused to reflect on the first obstacles that arise when you enter a working environment for the first time: making yourself known and striking up professional relationships in the optical sector. The project offers a possible solution that will allow young designers to display their talent and attract the attention of the sector’s experts.
The first “experiment” at Mido was successful and the company intends to repeat the workshop in the future. This fresh and intuitive approach to the world of design aims at bringing the entrepreneurial world closer to young creative talents and 20Nuovi itself to a way of promoting its values by creating a communication space that is new, special and unique.
