Essilor Italia has added YouTube to an extensive 2011 communication campaign strongly aimed at spreading the vision wellbeing culture and, in particular, Varilux®, the next-generation progressive lenses.

The address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOBbCpA918A leads to an Essilor-dedicated area and to the 'Varilux Experience'. The video takes internet users to the world of presbyopia and describes the extraordinary performance offered by customized Varilux® lenses, the top brand in the Essilor portfolio.

“As previously announced, we intend to approach the world of social networks in order to widen Essilor horizons. We also want to contribute to developing the market by creating new opportunities that will help opticians grow their business locally”, stated Essilor Italia Marketing Manager Massimo Barberis.
This operation is part of a comprehensive corporate strategy plan aimed at encouraging more direct information flows between the manufacturer, opticians and end consumers.
“Our space on YouTube will be constantly enriched with Essilor videos devoted to the wide range of Essilor solutions”, Barberis concluded.
