Glassing sponsors “VIP on Board 2011”
Glassing is supporting an original initiative that unites the worlds of show-biz, sport, travel and scientific research: “VIP on Board”. It is a media project that organizes travel and surfing lessons in real paradises on earth and includes participation by tourists and television and radio celebrities, from “Zelig” and “Colorado” comedians to “Striscia la Notizia” and “Le Iene” reporters to DJ Ringo of Virgin Radio.
A part of the proceeds will be allocated to “Centro Dino Ferrari”, a center that has been researching neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases since 1978.
Indie, Blues, Funky and Opera, the colorful Glassing sunglasses in the “Music Skin 2011” collection, will be personalized for the occasion with the name of the project and will be worn by VIPs, staffers and all participants.
“Glassing is very enthusiastic about joining “VIP on Board” said brand Communication and Marketing Manager Matteo Maragnano. “We are pleased that we can contribute to this initiative and, more importantly, to support research into finding cures for neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases”.
After the inaugural stage at the port of Livorno May 26, the project program includes four other stages:
-June 5 in Hawaii with the cast of “Striscia La Notizia”;
-June 17 DJ Ringo and other VIPs will travel from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas (Baja California) on a Harley Davidson;
-July 9 in Hossegor with a group of models
-August 5 in Oaxaca (Mexico) with “Le Iene” reporters.
