Latest news from the Roll of Optometrists Conference
The academic world is a concept that continues to expand, a world that provides new professionals, new “brains” and new ideas. “Research & Development” begins here and it is becoming increasingly important for a sector that never ceases to evolve: optometry.
Representing the whole of Italy from the north to the center and south, the universities in attendance will interpret these new developments, discuss different topics and present projects and theses on experimentation.
Amblyopia by optometrists Luigi Seclì and Giuseppe Piccoli and by two recent graduates, Melissa Ciurlia and Sabrina Protopapa; microbial contamination and the accuracy of new corneal pachymetry devices by Alfredo Desiato and Nunzio Maresca, respectively; fixation disparity-associated phoria and behavior by Christian Mosca and Mauro Faini.
The conference is an occasion for meeting fellow professionals, exchanging views and expanding contacts and relationships. This is the “leitmotif” of a conference that has a massive attendance of optometrists every year and with a month still to go before it opens this year, the number of available places is limited.
