Optissimo: “Zero Impact” project continues
The “Zero Impact” project presented in recent months by the Randazzo Group continues to advance. This time it is moving to Casamassima in the South of Italy to open the first completely eco-compatible store.
With this opening the company continues its commitment to environmental sustainability that has already been launched in three other eco-stores between Parma and Ancona.
“The Zero Impact project” explained Luca Sacilotto, Managing Director of the Randazzo Group “is part of the cultural and managerial orientation of the company’s list of values that take the form of implementing economic development and social responsibility policies. The aim is the development of vehicles, structures and processes inside and outside the company that tend toward almost zero impact on the environment”.
The eco-store in the Auchan mall at Casamassima is furnished with recycled and eco-sustainable materials such as plastic, glass and paper. Electricity for the eco-store and for over a hundred other stores under the direct management of the Randazzo Group comes only from certified renewable sources.
The store also has the innovative Activisu electronic system: by using a TV camera and a monitor customers can actually see how they look in the frames or contact lenses they want to buy. At the same time, they can carry out the digital centering of the lenses.
