Paola Gambini joins the Faoflex team

At the Faoflex sales meeting held a few days ago at the Asolo Golf Club, Paola Gambini, daughter of deceased designer Germano Gambini, was also present. Paola, a recognised professional on the Bologna real estate panorama, has decided to collaborate with Faoflex in the distribution of her father’s collections and to take care of packaging design for the Gambini eyewear lines.

“In this way, Paola guarantees the continuity of the Gambini family in their collaboration with Faoflex and with opticians who select the Cristalli and Leggeri lines,” declared Cristiano Zanella, CEO of Faoflex, pleased with this decision finalised at MIDO following the death of Germano Gambini in December 2010.

According to him, Paola has always been involved in her father’s creation of new collections almost as a ‘tester’ for his innovations: “My father," declared Paola, “instilled in me his passion for eyeglasses ever since I was a child, teaching me about their intrinsic and extrinsic beauty on the faces of the people he would imagine.”

In this way, Faoflex, following important sales results of the first semester (+30% over 2010) can be pleased with a significant acquisition following a devastating loss. And growth can continue in the tradition of the Gambini family.
