T'occhi di Design in Milan today

Participants flocked to the Milan edition of T'occhi di Design held today at Italia Independent.

On display during the morning were the collections presented at Silmo by brands well-known for their design. They included I-I, Vanni, Derapage and special guest Ic!berlin.

The event provided the backdrop for an interesting Round Table moderated by Simona Finessi (Professional Optometry). The speakers were host Lapo Elkann, special guest Ralph Anderl of Ic!berlin, Giovanni Acconciagioco for LA srl and Giovanni Vitaloni for Nico-Design.

Also taking the floor was marketing expert Danilo Fatelli, who analysed in depth the theme of the meeting: “Independent producers and distributors in a difficult scenario: the search for shared solutions” (we will go into this subject more in detail in a separate article). The talk sparked off an exchange of ideas and views as well as a formulation of strategies for promoting and supporting the sale of creative eyewear in a market dominated by the designer brands of optical multinationals and by mass distributors.

The event was a moment for opticians and the producers of designer eyewear to meet, an invitation to a hands-on experience of products by producers that have made creative research their exclusive business.

For one day, Italia Independent HQ became the location for a harmonious blend of fashion, technology and suggestions of the past.
