Vanni celebrates Unification of Italy

Vanni celebrates Unification of Italy

The 2011 Vanni collection celebrates Italians with light blue and its new products include a remake of the eyewear that made Italian history on the nose of the man from Piedmont and protagonist of the Risorgimento: Camillo Benso di Cavour.

The total opposite of contemporary fashion, the Vanni model is small, ultra-slim and comes in red, blue or green as well as traditional brown.

The dominant color of the Vanni collection for 2011 is light blue, homage by “made in Italy” eyewear design to the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, an invitation to Italians to recognize each other in the color that is a symbol of value and identity.

Vanni’s light blue is not just the color of certain frames, it is also a way of seeing a style imprinted with lightness and dynamism, a modern proposal tinged with exuberance.
Vanni eyewear 2011 is small, based on minimalist technical construction, impactful color, and updated with specific components to improve comfort - hinge, tags, end pieces.
