Bloomindale’s Displays Virtual Try On in NYC Store Windows

  NEW YORK—Bloomingdale's has debuted virtual try-on technology in the window displays of their 59th Street location, here.   According to a spokesperson for the retailer, virtual-reality technology projects sunglass images onto the shoppers' faces when they stand in front of the stores windows.   There are six interactive windows, each of which shows four different women's sunglass styles from designers including Fendi, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Prada and Roberto Cavalli.   The shoppers have the ability to choose their favorite look, which can then be printed inside the store at its Sunglass Style Bar located on the main floor.   Read the article on VMail
