Essilor Acquires Majority Interest in Central Optical

    YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio—Essilor of America has acquired a majority interest in Central Optical, a wholesale optical laboratory in Youngstown, Ohio, VMail has learned. Owner Lloyd Yazbek retains a share of the company which generates $11 million in annual revenue, according to Essilor.   In a related development, Yazbek and his wife, Linda Yazbek, have purchased a minority interest in Optical One, another Youngstown-based wholesale lab in which Essilor owns a majority share. Under the new ownership arrangements, Lloyd Yazbek will remain president of Central Optical, and the management of Optical One will report to him, according to Essilor.   Read the article on VMail
