Essilor Announces Latest Acquisitions, Including Optic Blue

CHARENTON-LE-PONT, France—Essilor International (Reuters: ESSI.PA) announced its latest acquisitions yesterday, including a majority holding in Optic Blue, a prescription laboratory based in Lubbock, Texas with annual revenue of around $3.5 million. In total, Essilor said it completed 11 transactions during the first quarter ending March 31, 2012 representing annual revenue of €52 million.
