European Commission Clears Acquisition of Alain Afflelou Group by Lion Capital

BRUSSELS—The European Commission, an arm of the European Union (EU), has granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulation to the acquisition of sole control by Lion Capital of French group Alain Afflelou.   Lion Capital is an investment fund based in the UK.
