New York Eye promotes Shannon Johnson senior vice president of operations

Company president Arthu Jankolovits: "Shannon is a talented manager. She has grown with our company and helped it grow" New York Eye has announced the promotion of Shannon Johnson to senior vice president of operations. With the company for 18 years, Johnson has held various managerial roles, the most recent of which was vice president of product support.   "We are lucky to have Shannon in our team", said New York Eye president Arthur Jankolovits. "She is a talented manager who has grown with our company and helped it to grow. We congratulate her on her promotion".   In her new role, Johnson will continue to head product support at New York Eye in addition to handling Management Information Systems (MIS) and company banking and finance. Her product support functions include purchasing, receiving, transport and assistance.   "New York Eye has been my home for 18 years and I look forward to working with our incredible team for many more years. It has been a real pleasure watching our company grow and prosper over the years", Johnson added.   Johnson began working in the optical industry in 1987 in the product development area at Optique du Monde. She joined New York Eye (formerly Hart Specialties) in 1994 and has worked as product manager on all the company's eyewear brands. In 1998 she was promoted to vice president of product support in the product assistance area.
