The new E.6/C.5 system is capable of producing highly customized and intricate shapes with ease Briot/Weco Canada announced the release of the new E.6/C.5 system, dubbed "Design Series" for its ability to produce highly customized and intricate shapes with ease, using Sd (Smart Design) technology.   The E.6 edger features a wide range of options along with an operating speed that positions this robust machine as a high productivity and efficiency system. The E.6 has been featured in several publications and is best known for the Sd technology which allows it to easily capture and translate the most intricate shapes and designs. E.6 takes these images and uses a very small finishing wheel and a milling tool to bring these shapes to life with precision and speed.   Aside from fully customized shapes, E.6 also offers partial processing to allow for a perfect fit into the most complex of frames. True to Weco's modularity principle, the new E.6 is compatible with Weco's wide choice of centring and tracing devices, thereby providing lab professionals with the most extensive range of personalized finishing systems.
