Carl Zeiss Vision Names Joe Wende, OD, as Vice President, Managed Care

  A graduate of State University of New York College of Optometry, Dr. Wende practiced both in independent and retail-affiliated settings before joining Davis Vision.   There he served for over 15 years as the vice president of professional affairs and quality management. In this role, he led Davis Vision to be the first vision care plan to be accredited as a PPO by The Joint Commission, and certified in credentialing by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).   Read the article on VMail
