Alcon announced the launch of Dailies AquaComfort Plus family of contact lenses with multifocal and toric designs Now available in spherical, toric and multifocal designs, the daily disposable contact lenses allow eyecare professionals (ECPs) to conveniently fit the majority of people by correcting the most common of refractive errors – near and farsightedness, presbyopia and astigmatism. Dailies AquaComfort Plus family of contact lenses feature the proprietary Blink-activated Moisture Technology, designed to provide lasting comfort and consistently crisp, clear vision through the end of the day. With each blink of the eye, moisturizing agents are released from the matrix of the contact lens. This results in a stabilized tear film, which further helps support clear vision and comfort. These contact lenses also offer one of the most hygienic and easy-to-use options for contact lens wearers, as they do not require lens care solution. Dailies® AquaComfort® Plus Multifocal contact lenses are designed for presbyopes, who have trouble reading fine print up close or are having trouble switching focus between near, intermediate and far distances. They feature the Precision Curve™ lens design, the same design as Focus® Dailies Toric lenses from Alcon, with additional 150 per cent parameters (more axis and cylinder power combinations), enabling ECPs to deliver an optimal fit to the majority of the astigmatic population.
