RAY-BAN SPRING/SUMMER 2015
New explorations in the world of materials and technology. New, charming versions of iconic models and new sun and optical proposals Since 1937 Ray-Ban has been synonymous with experiments, adventure, functionality and design. Aviators, the first Ray-Bans, were created for American airmen and are the perfect combination of aerodynamic style, comfort and technical performance. This is why they have been collected by connoisseurs ever since they first appeared on the market. The other two timeless Ray-Ban icons are Wayfarer, a unique, universal design that is worn by men and women of character, and Clubmaster, with its emphasized top profile and vintage, intellectual flavor. Next season Ray-Ban will continue its investigation into the possibilities offered by new technologies. Specifically, Liteforce – a material used by the aerospace industry – stars in the sun segment with two new sports models, and a mini collection in the optical segment, which makes use of this very light but strong material for featherweight, enduring models. The Light Ray technology - which uses titanium alloy with a patented hinge with no screws or soldering - has advanced and is now Light-Ray 2.0, a new mix of nylon and Light Ray. Champions of design Wayfarer and Aviator are the trailblazers for this new combination that unites innovation and style. But Wayfarer will be the icon of spring/summer 2015: available in denim, leather, a Liteforce optical version, but also in a new premium acetate with a new "mottled" effect, it makes use of materials and new technologies and demonstrates that it can meet all challenges.
