Knee-high boots are back

This season, names such as Santoni, Casadei, Burberry, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Stuart Weitzman, have surrendered to the appeal of knee-height boots inspired by those of the musketeers of The Most Noble Order of the Garter. Leather, suede, plain or with inlay work, the couturiers see no limits to their imagination. Stuart Weitzman has even chosen them for the 2015/16 autumn/winter advertising campaign by the maestro Mario Testino. The star is the beautiful Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen who wears the leather Allegs model. An image that confirms the return to the 70’s, an era when these boots were a must have.
