In partnership with the NGO Waste Free Ocean,ECO collects, recycles, and reuses plastic that simply does not belong in the sea – and turn it into sustainable eyewear, into the ECO Ocean collection.
“ECO is not only an eyewear brand but is becoming more and more a community. As we firmly believe that together we can make a big change, we want to engage people around the world to think about the environment while being curious, fun and positive. That’s why we organize beach and rivers clean ups, often in collaboration with our retailers.
Our latest beach clean up was on May 21st in Italy (Cattolica), in collaboration with Ottica Lisotti. A group of volunteers guided by our opticians worked to clean the beach around Ventena rivers’ mouth and did a great job, having fun and totally embracing the Eco’s philosophy”, stated the brand.
