Furla and De Rigo Vision renew eyewear license until 2032

Furla and De Rigo Vision announce the renewal of their licensing agreement for eyewear collections.

First signed in 2007, the contract has now been extended through 2032, confirming a solid and long-lasting partnership built on shared values of creativity, innovation, and quality.

The renewal comes at a particularly positive time for the category: in the first quarter of 2025, Furla’s eyewear collection recorded double-digit global growth compared to the same period of the previous year, further strengthening the brand’s strategic role within De Rigo’s licensing portfolio.

De Rigo Group, one of the international leaders in eyewear, is recognized for its expertise in design, distribution, and management of eyewear licenses worldwide. The partnership with Furla is based on a shared vision: to offer collections that interpret the brand’s identity through refined, contemporary frames rich in style and functionality.

Furla, an Italian leather goods brand founded in Bologna in 1927, has successfully transformed a family business into a global lifestyle label. In addition to its historic production of handbags, wallets, shoes, and leather accessories, the company has expanded into new product categories, including eyewear, extending its savoir-faire and contemporary aesthetic to an increasingly comprehensive universe.

At the heart of Furla’s identity lies a passion for beauty, authenticity, and color: vibrant, sometimes contrasting tones; quality materials; meticulous craftsmanship; and a balance between classic forms and innovative solutions.

“With De Rigo, we share a common vision based on quality, attention to detail, and the ability to innovate. Renewing this partnership is a strategic step that allows us to continue developing eyewear collections that best express Furla’s spirit and timeless elegance on an international scale,” said Eraldo Poletto, CEO of Furla.

“Our collaboration with Furla represents a highly valuable strategic project. Over the years we have built a relationship of trust and mutual growth, and we are delighted to continue this creative journey through 2032,” added Michele Aracri, CEO of De Rigo Vision.
