Ray-Ban supports emerging design talents
The collaboration with ITS Contest 2026 highlights creativity from the new generation.
Ray-Ban reaffirms its commitment to supporting the next generation of creatives by confirming its participation in ITS Contest 2026, one of the most important international platforms dedicated to emerging designers. With a long-standing focus on innovation and experimentation, the brand continues to promote young talent across art, music, and fashion.
Participants in the 2026 edition, coming from all over the world, demonstrate how fashion can serve as a powerful tool for personal and identity expression. Their creations reflect a language shaped by plurality, freedom, and cultural crossovers, where the body becomes a space for storytelling and self-affirmation.
In this context, Ray-Ban presented the Ray-Ban part of EssilorLuxottica Award to Steven Chevallier (IFM Paris, France). His collection, titled OUT RAGE, stands out for its strong visual impact, use of materials, and bold contrasting prints, offering a critical perspective on a contemporary world marked by conflict and social tensions.
Drawing inspiration from key figures in queer culture and activism such as Derek Jarman and David Wojnarowicz, Chevallier pays tribute to the struggles of marginalized communities, transforming anger and resilience into a powerful creative language. Accessories play a central role in the collection, helping define unisex silhouettes with a strong and contemporary identity.
To support the designer, Ray-Ban will collaborate on the creation of a total look, completed with a pair of Ray-Ban glasses from the Pulse collection, customized with the designer’s graphics. The final look will be on display at the ITS Museum in Trieste from March 26, 2026, to January 3, 2027.
Through initiatives like this, Ray-Ban not only supports emerging talent but also actively contributes to shaping the future of design and expanding the boundaries of creative expression.
