Kinloch has been around since 2013 with its range of printed silk scarves and ties. Today, thanks to Davide Mongelli and his designer partner Francesco Fantoccoli, it has become a brand with a reputation for Italian artisan excellence.
The brand’s distinguishing characteristic comes in the shape of designs depicting every season of a different trip, with single prints or repetitive all-over versions: Russia, Mexico, Naples, Las Vegas, and India are just some of the featured destinations with places, people, details, and natural elements depicted in a fantastic and tongue-in-cheek manner.
For the S/S 2022 collection, the brand focuses on Hawaii. Volcanic islands covered in exotic flowers and colourful seabeds, surfboards, giant turtles and dancing figures, all feature in a collection of silk and cotton accessories: scarves of all sizes, ties, handkerchiefs, bandannas, men’s shirts and women’s hair accessories.
The fabrics are all strictly Made in Italy, or more precisely,
Made in Como, and are handsewn (with machine-sewn finish also offered as an option).
